The MDFRA holds several courses for new referees throughout the year. All practical sessions are held at Belgenney Reserve, Camden.
Level 4 Referee courses
This course is tailored to anyone aged 13 and above and qualifies you to referee junior and senior football.
The course is split into an online component and a practical session.
Small Sided Games (SSG) courses
Not quite ready to step onto the big field but want to start your refereeing journey. The SSG is recommended for ages 12 and above who are just starting their refereeing journey and qualifies you to referee SSG in the Macarthur District.
This course is a 3-4 hour theory and practical session.
