We’re excited to announce that electronic payments for referees will be trialled for the M-League First Grade and Reserve Grade competitions from 21–22 June 2025 through to the end of the season.
This initiative is part of ongoing collaboration between MDFRA and the Macarthur Football Association (MFA), with the aim of rolling out electronic payments across the entire Association from 2026.
Who: M-League First and Reserve Grade referees
When: Starting from 21–22 June 2025
How: Payments will be made via Stripe, through the Squadi platform
Payment Timeframe: Funds will be transferred within 8 business days after your match
Setup: A step-by-step guide has been provided to help you enter your payment details in Squadi
Note: M-League Colts and M-League Women will continue to be paid in cash
As the Macarthur District continues to grow, it is becoming increasingly difficult for clubs to manage large volumes of cash. This trial will help us transition toward a more secure, efficient, and scalable system.
